Mini Marathon debut
I competed in my first Mini Marathon on 13th April 2014 – it was a great experience. It felt really strange not checking the course out beforehand and only having a tiny area to warm up in. I was in the leading group all race and it came down to a sprint at the end. My finish was pretty good and I came 2nd. The Under 15 Boys East Midlands team won the team event.’
