School Sport Development Manager
Hussein is the Partnership Development Manager for LSLSSP, his role involves providing strategic direction for PE, school sport and well-being. He is responsible for the financial and strategic management of the partnership and oversees co-ordination of multiple programmes of competitive sporting opportunities, health/well-being interventions, PE and school sport professional development. He aims to maintain and develop effective relationships with a wealth of partners including head teachers, school staff, local authorities and sports organisations. Hussein is passionate about supporting children’s well-being and providing inclusive physical activity opportunities for all young people.
Health & Well-being Officer
Jake is the Health and Well-being Officer for the LSLSSP. His role is to increase participation in physical activity for children who might not commonly engage in exercise or sport. Also he aims to develop an overall understanding of health and well-being within schools across South Leicestershire. He co-ordinates and delivers programmes such as Energise, SPARX, Big Moves, Inclusive Games, Change 4 Life, LADS and GALS promoting a focus on physical, mental and social aspects of living a healthy lifestyle.
School Sport Project Officer
Sam is the School Sport Project Officer for LSLSSP. His role includes co-ordinating programmes such as Secondary Health & Well-Being and Active Travel, alongside supporting the Blaby Family of Schools sport and physical activity initiatives. Sam also supports Jake with the day-to-day delivery of Energise, SPARX and Big Moves and provides support to Jon and the competition calendar.”
Lucy is the Administration Officer for LSLSSP. Lucy supports the team in all areas of the partnership, from designing marketing material and communications to managing the social media accounts and updating the website. Lucy communicates CPD opportunities for schools and often supports the team at events and some competitions.
