Leicester-Shire & Rutland Sport (LRS) are looking for nominations to recognise individuals for their service to PE, sport and physical activity in the ‘Hilary Johnson Award‘ and Primary Schools for their achievements in best practice of high quality PE and school sport in the ‘Primary PE & Sport Premium Impact Award‘, with both awards being recognised at the School Sport Dinner in April.
To nominate, complete the hard-copy nomination forms below, or if you prefer, complete the nominations online. All nominations must be sent in/completed by Friday 20th March 2015.

Winners will be invited to attend the Chairman of Leicestershire County Council’s Dinner for School Sport on the evening of Monday 20th April 2015.

In memory of Hilary Johnson; who was an incredibly passionate PE teacher and the mother of former England Rugby Union Head Coach and Captain of the 2003 World Cup Winning Team, Martin Johnson CBE.
‘The Primary PE & Sport Premium Impact Award 2015’ – Recognition of best practice and impact in High Quality PE & School Sport
Primary PE & Sport premium funding was distributed to ensure that all primary schools increase the quality of their PE and sport offer. The vision is to ensure that children leaving primary school are physically literate and have the knowledge, skills and motivation necessary to equip them for a healthy lifestyle and lifelong participation in physical activity and sport.
