The LRS Women & Girls Coach Bursary is looking to address the imbalance in the number of male to female coaches, creating a more diverse workforce to drive the growth of female participation in sport. The programme will provide the opportunity for applicants to receive financial support to undertake a level 2 qualification and to be up skilled to meet the required minimum standards. In return the applicants will deliver coaching hours contributing towards our Sportivate targets. We are funding Level 2 qualifications in Netball, Cricket, Basketball, Handball and Rugby Union.
The coaching bursary will support females who wish to expand on their current qualifications and experiences. Applicants must hold at least one UKCC Level 1 qualification (any sport).
Applications must be submitted no later than 16th May 2014.
