Learning South Leicestershire SSP co-ordinate a range of opportunities for young people with special education needs and disabilities to get involved with physical activity.
These include opportunities to take part in a programme of competitive school sport through the School Games, co-ordinated alongside the Leicestershire & Rutland Inclusive Sports Association (LARISA). More details on how to get involved can be found on the competition and events page.
We provide a programme of inclusive sports coaching in schools, introducing a range of activities to young people and school staff, and raising awareness of opportunities to participate in inclusive and disability sport in the local community.
A programme of training and professional development for school staff is also co-ordinated by LARISA. For more information contact Sandra Pugh.
