Learning South Leicestershire SSP provides a comprehensive range of training and professional development opportunities for schools. 

PE & School Sport Professional Development Courses & Support Packages

Learning South Leicestershire SSP, the Hinckley & Bosworth & Leicester City School Sport and Physical Activity Networks, Val Sabin Publications and Training, Bright Futures Education and AfPE have teamed up to provide a series of locally delivered professional development courses and support packages for schools. In addition, courses are provided in conjunction with National Governing Bodies of Sport and the Youth Sport Trust. By being delivered locallly and in accordance with local need, the courses are appropriate, accessible and affordable. 

A programme of courses run throughout the year for both primary and secondary schools. Primary school PE & Sport Package members receive a discount on course prices. The support available enables schools to develop a sustainable and high quality PE & school sport provision for the benefit of their pupils and staff, in line with OFSTED requirements.
